Rhys has over 16 years' experience in private client work and has acted as a Consultant for MD Law for over the last three years. He specialises in drafting complex wills and the administration of estates. He has helped and supported and advised a number of families and individuals who are clients of MD Law.
He is a graduate of Cardiff University and qualified as a Solicitor in 1991. He has a wide experience in dealing with complex high value estates/probate matters.
He also has a wide experience of dealing with estates where there is no Will. He has recently completed a matter where there was no Will and he successfully traced 26 beneficiaries two of which were in Australia.
He also has experience where it is alleged that the Will is not valid because it was not signed properly or was made under duress or where the person making the Will did not have sufficient mental capacity to do the Will in the first place.
He is a full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly and Regional Co-Ordinator of the - South Wales Branch. He is also a full member of the Private Client and Probate Section of the Law Society and a full member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Rhys has also completed several professional development courses in probate and estate administration and is a Welsh speaker.
